I have been vegan on and off for a while now, and I think this time it's here to stay! This month I increased my intake of ripe bananas! And they are great in smoothies!
I have been eating grapes and berries by itself like meal replacements, and I feel great! Eating fruits feels like regulating bodies cleansing system. It must be that they are nutrient dense and easy on the digestive system, as they have their own enzymes.
I am not saying eating meat /dairy is unhealthy, but some people are not able to digest it correctly. For example, my friend Dave can drink a whole gallon of raw milk, and be fine! To allow body to heal, I believe digestion needs break for a while which can mean months, years or even forever, if I function well without it, why add them back to diet? Currently, I am trying to go Raw Vegan, but its not easy to transform and it takes time for body to get used to.
